So many runners. I keep thinking I’ll go out early and walk.
Or climb stairs. I think I’ll just watch.
Look! The Republican Guard exercising their horses. Always thrilling.
And got their crunchy, sugar dusted almond croissant 🥐 and finished it for dinner. Still drawing ✏️ literary cats of Colette and Francoise Sagan for distraction.
One of my favorite posts... but I think I say that every time! I can feel the chill when I see misty Paris. These are some of your most beautiful photos. I LOVE seeing the bridges & the “zoom out” shots are stunning. I miss Paris , I hope I get there soon. In the meantime your photos and posts make me so happy! Merci & bisous à toi💚🇫🇷

But it was exceptionally misty and foggy. And because it was Veteran’s Day not much traffic.
I don’t remember seeing this before but usually I’m still at home at 9AM making hot chocolate.
I should go out early more often I guess :))

It’s freezing here in the San Francisco Bay Area. Your pics are so pretty. Love the kitty drawings. The croissants look wonderful. San Jose is so dull compared to your life in Paris.

Some French like to play at TG...and there are plenty of places offering dinners (take-away this year). The French do not GET cranberry sauce in my opinion. Or dressing etc. They get too creative adding truffles etc. :((
Marcia C. Dont forget they are day-old croissants, smashed and refilled with frangipane/almond paste. Then rebaked. So not impossible to duplicate!
I like all the very atmospheric photos. Most envious of the favored almond croissant. Et j’adore les chats !! I want them! I think that you could do a series of them on a page organized in some fabulous Carol way.

Thank you for the misty morning walk around familiar rues of Paris. It is also a misty and chilly morning in Portland, Oregon. My husband is making a cappuccinos to enjoy with croissants from our favorite Ken's Boulangerie. We need sustenance to read the NYT. Your almond croissant looks delicious.

Amazing to see so many joggers in Paris now. 10 or 15 years ago, if one saw a jogger it had to be an American!!! I remember when they made fun of us.......lol!

You must be off to buy stamps or mail the next Paris Letter. I enjoyed seeing your sketches before your last post. Since Palais Royal was on my mind I recognized some of the names. Didier Ludot, Grand Vefour. I used to buy perfume at Parfume de Rosine.
