    1. Paris buses are a delight!
      Always on time.
And they run frequently for the most part.
People on board tend to be friendlier because it is a more social environment.
You HAVE to talk to people to get up or out including the driver.

  2. Love it. When I first came to Paris I took the metro everywhere until I realised after my first bus ride that I could have walked some of the routes and it would have been less complicated! You are so right.
You are also so lucky with the weather here just now. It's amazing, eh?

    1. Yes the weather is overwhelmingly beautiful. I wish I could go and go in this weather but the feet go on strike now and then.
And of course I did not bring a blue and white striped shirt.

  3. Bonjour Carol. Splendid shots of "les Ponts de Paris..." Looks like someone is having fun, and enjoying great weather to boot! ;-) As for "la Mariniere," I am sure there are plenty for sale in the shop windows around you, chez Monoprix if nowhere else. Just take a pick! (I can never resist and already own about 7 or 8 in different shades. Oy.) Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)

    1. But you're so close and so lucky to be just a 2hr ride away Karen.
I went to a divine cooking class (2 actually)
4 British friends surprised their bride-to-be friend with a trip to Paris including a macaron lesson with CHEF MARTHE.
      Unbeatable fun in my opinion!!

I especially love your photos of Paris at dusk.
I felt as if I was there.
Very early morning and dusk are my favorites times of the day in Paris.
    I enjoy all your blogs.

  15. Lovely photos. And I agree about the bus-it's so much better than the metro. The bus from the Marais to Rue Cler passes by some beautiful landmarks!

  17. Don't forget to get some pictures of the padlocks that lovers lock to the bridges close to the University. They throw the key into the river as a sign of their forever love, their initials on the locks. Is that romantic or what?
