As for the antiques - they have all manner of quotidienne object trouve (found everyday objects).
The charm of these ordinary utilitarian objects is obvious...

ZUT! has many, many train station clocks!Take your pick. 
Did you know that if, for example, you put ZUT!'s address into Google Maps and then click on the "STREET VIEW" link you will get something like this?
You can go up the street and down and around and zoom in and out and generally waste hours and hours of time...Perfection IMO :)

A frenchman I met chastised me for running across a street after the light changed. He gave the terribly practical reason that you're more likely to fall over if you run, but I suspect it was simply that it didn't look chic. I've never run across a street since! Your paintings are beautiful, Carol ~ have a magnificent time in Paris.
