Vintage Tea Cups, original watercolor
Plus browsing in Bergdorf's Vintage Tea Shop on the 7th floor helped, and I mean strictly browsing.
I fell in love again with all these pretty vintage china tea cups. Haviland, Limoges, Lord knows what?
Many one of a kind tea cups and saucers and some sets too.
Even some BLUE china! Did it all start with last year's Xmas windows at Bergdorf's? I fell in love ❤️ with this window of piled blue crockery.

ReplyDeleteOMG I LOVE TODAYS BLOG. You OUTDID yourself today. it is BEAUTIFUL. I LOVE that painting. Can I change paintings?? Nah. I love the one coming. But this is perfect too. I AM DROOLING. The Pinks and scallop along the ridge. My kind of tea cup. The rest of the blog with the roses and blues are perfect too. Ahhhh..I TOO am a CUPaholic. ;-)

I am reading this post whilst an FA Cup replay is on TV. These are my sort of cups also. HELP I hate football or as you say soccer.

ReplyDeleteSpeaking of Paris (almost), your *other home* paper (NYTimes) today spoke of Clamecy and galettes.
Perhaps not as delicate as your teacups, but certainly finding themselves amongst the sweets.
These are so incredibly delicate and beautifully translucent. You've outdone yourself, PB.

I love teacups too. I buy them thinking I will create a beautiful craft with them or resell them for a profit but inevitably, in the end, I cannot part with them. I was, however,able to give up four so that she could make silk flower arrangements with them for my birthday this year. They turned out looking very sweet. (I don't know if they would be your 'cup of tea', Carol but feel free to go to my site and take a peek and paint them if you feel lead to do so.
