I kept wondering if some Paris store would feature ballet, dance or Opera Garnier for their Christmas windows.

Then go down the escalators leisurely to peruse all the unobtainable luxuries.

Spotted on some floors - the occasional authentic ballerina costume. This one designed by the fabulous Christian Lacroix for George Balanchine’s Joyaux at l’Opera National de Paris. 

On the weekends real dancers will be performing instore.

Speaking of piney scents, I can’t figure out why French Christmas trees don’t smell like trees in New York? They have no scent at all?! In New York you could never walk by a bunch of trees on the pavement without wanting to drag one home. ’Ah the smell of it’. Here nuttin’. Sure, they are different species but what fun is that? If you know please tell🙏🌲

I went to Ernest instore for a big delish croque monsieur instead. Forget the so-called MIA cauliflower soup.
