When Lindsey Tramuta of Lost in Cheeseland asked for a portrait photo to go with her Franco file interview on Parisbreakfast she did not want a picture of my feet.
Wet or dry. And who can blame her?
It's a classic. Especially worn with black tights.
Another summer classic - framboise and fraise desserts adorning the patisserie vitrines.
As an homage to Paris reds I bought a single red strawberry on a black ribbon from La Fille du Consul.
And ate a framboise ice cream cone.
Essential really...
I've yet to taste Jean-Paul Hevin's chocolat-framboise little cakes but it's on the must list. Do stop by and see what Lindsey has to say about Parisbreakfasts.

Your polka-dot red ballerinas are great, I have said so before. I am getting a little worried, though, that my youngest will see them and want them! She's a ballerina kind of girl.
Framboise and chocolate are a divine combination, a match made in heaven! I recently had a framboise sour cream gelato, that was also very good.
Are you enjoying the summer evenings in Paris? Here, everybody and their brother are out and about when dusk falls, into late evening.

I've always loved red, but this morning, the most appealing pictures are the ones with strawberries to eat! Your last watercolor with the raspberry on top of the chocolate is making me drool. Woops. That's probably not polite to say. Well, I'm off to find some strawberry jam.
