It's easy to find right by the La Madeleine...
You can even eat au terrace on pink chairs with the Madeleine at your back...
I'd be happy to work even just one day at Fauchon so I could wear this pink apron...

I LOVE their packaging - who cares what's inside...
Though I've yet to be disappointed.
Of course there are lovely macarons both mini and grand...
Do workers get to take home any leftovers..?Macarons do have a limited shelf-life.
Fauchon is famous especially for their bizarre eclairs...
I like their apple (pomme) tea too...
My absolute favorite thing-maybe because it's the first thing I ever tasted from Fauchon...
If you happen to be passing by, please put in a good word for me. I did work one summer in a pancake house in Nantucket after all.
Please do not tell how I gave the wrong pancakes to the wrong customer (the lone blueberry rolled off the top). Or how the chef/owner took the returned pancakes and threw them against the kitchen wall, whatever you do!

This is the first comment I have ever left for anyone!!!-I love your charming blog and I have to laugh about the pancakes-having spent many a summer in Nantucket (my favorite spot -up there with Paris!)-that has to be Arno-he hasn't changed in all those years!! Thank you for all your efforts in keeping the magic of Paris alive after one has left!!

But there are so many choices of apartments...if you could only go once, which arrondissement would you choose? We want the most amazing experience possible within 8 days.

That's a hard one Jenn, but I'd choose the 7th arrondissement first= Eiffel Tower, nice bridges to walk across to get to swanky shopping areas, nice but not too pricy restos, parks, pretty buildings and not too touristy because of the residences, good bakeries.

We have been to Paris numerous times, have been around Le
Madeline and I have never seen Fauchon.
Husbands have a way of
distracting you from seeing such delectable sights. I finally saw a
Laduree this summer on our last visit and made him let me look inside(at the long line). He just didn't get it.
He can, however, identify every auto on the street, who makes it, how fast it goes, what year it
is, etc, etc.
Thank you for showing me the Paris I never see. (sigh)
