"La Rentree"

It's that time of year when the French talk about "La Rentree", a new beginning and a return from their August month-long vacance...
Time to get out your pencils and start sharpening... Especially if they are solid chocolate from Paris chocolatier Patrick Roger! "The it-accessory for Fall. A bunch of coloring crayons in black and milk chocolate, made with chocolates from 6 glam destinations: Venezuela, the Caribbean, Madagascar, Papua New Guinea, Brazil and Tanzania. In order to have an early feel for the next vacation while biting off the tip of his crayons..." More newsletters for you!

Isn’t it amazing how the French make every occasion into something fun? Unlike Labor Day here in the US, where it is all about what’s on sale at the big stores.
    Yuck.

  12. Great, colorful blog today! I really enjoyed the Boulangerie Paul website link -- they have beautiful screen savers (see BONUS), which are a nice reminder of the importance of "le pain" to the French (then again, your favorite macarons are also a featured item, too!).

You might want to make your readers awrey that the rules for the contest state that it's only for residents of France, Corsica and the DOM TOM regions -- outlying French possessions in the Atlantic, Pacific and Indian Oceans, the Caribbean and South America (see map below). So, I'm afraid we can't try for the big prize unless we all move, which isn't a bad idea!:((

    Have a great weekend,

    Lisa
