The first florist shop I actually went into and bought a bud - Fleurimont, 12, rue Gregoire de Tours 75006
And my namesake..so to speak...AQUARELLE fleurist rue de buci 75006
I have yet to get up the courage and go in and buy one of their fab bouquets...
At least I'll know what to wear...I just have to rent a dog...

There is a great florist shop on the corner of Augereau and St. Dominique.
ReplyDeleteTwo nice men are in charge of it, and they are great about giving information on all the flowers and plants.
The best part, however, is the huge bird cage in the shop, which might be worth its own watercolor.

I often forget how beautiful it all is in the day to day grind.

tonights post brought some memories back as l had a flower shop some years ago and the flowers were shown just like the pictures.
ReplyDeleteAt christmas l hid a CD player behind some flower buckets and had it playing soft christmas music.
People used to be looking all over the street wondering were it came from,

ReplyDeleteIt'd be awesome if you could give some indication of where you take some of the pictures, either address, rue, or even just arrondissement. Some of these pictures are so beautiful I'd want visit them the next time I am à Paris.
You never see flowers on chairs like that America--We NEED that! It gives SUCH an ambiance!

ReplyDeletein your Paris that is. Then again, it may sound pretensious. I dare say that there are similarities in the way Viennese flower shops display their gorgeous wares.
Right next to my tram stop, a tiny little flowershop beckons, and just yesterday I succumbed, again: I bought a beautiful saffron colored primula auricula to grace my kitchen window.
Oooh, just what the doctor ordered , a touch of spring. I think it was here once upon a time that I saw a video of the flower mart and stalls in Paris. I think I would want to wander there too.
