Time for Dessert...

Chocolat framboise, J-P Hevin, watercolor, 9" x11"
Time for more Paris desserts, this one by Jean-Paul Hevin.
Eclair-shaped macaron raspberry sandwich cookies from Aux Désirs de Manon in the Marais...
And a distant cousin resides in Fontainebleau....
At FAUCHON a cake with faux macarons...
In the 13th at Ommis Patissier a plenitude of fraises...
Mini fraisier petit fours....
A sliced fraisier at Aux Désirs de Manon.
How about a whole pear/poire tarte anyone?
Nut tartes?
And a hot chocolate to go with that break-the-post-holiday-regime-piece-of-cake?
~
BON PETIT FOURS!

  1. Well, after " la galette", you are right, we could have a slice of " tarte aux poires" or " tarte aux fraises". Waiting for Crêpes on February 2nd!

I have thought of ordering some of your work at etsy. Are they prints or originals? I could do a beautiful kitchen around your paintings!

Speaking of dessert….I was not wild about the new Pierre Herme from Bandai—too big in my view. What did you think? I am anxiously awaiting the new chocolate set—I already have a chocolate fountain in 1:12 scale, so I am curious to see how Re-Ment’s compares. But I need to buy yet another box to store them in!

PS Many compliments on my piece montee painting….and shortly I should be receiving my commissioned piece(s) from Emma and Neil. Can’t wait to get them and share them with you!
