Yum. I am in love with that lavender box, the one with the Laduree grren ribbon. That is the epitome of promise. Would marry a guy on the spot who brought me a box like that..but then that's just silly me...I wonder if those French papas instruct there sons... go to Laduree if you want to win a woman's heart...;-)
And that painting..oooh, si riche Ms Agog. I like that a lot.
dear Carol, sorry I haven't e-mailed you for so long! your paintings and photos always take me away to France- now I'm updated on the latest macaron fashions! XOXO
i don't know if you were doing this before, but i really like the fact that your recent paintings have a background. i love your blog by the way. i feel like i've been visiting it secretly (for some months now) but had never commented, until today. great job.
Carol your watercolors are ALWAYS beautiful but today… WOW! The overall composition is stunning, the blending in such perfect harmony and those awesome colors, ooh la la ~ stunning! I can imagine your art in so many diverse places – it’s all so lovely and versatile. Très cool blogging today – who doesn’t LOVE Lavender :D
Good morning Carol! I have already taken a glance at Luca Turin's new book, focusing on the House of Guerlain's fragrances, as I have long been a fan of theirs... funny, many descriptions of the fragrances, I did not agree with! And I think women perceive fragrance much differently than men do... Patricia
A delicious "voyage" among lavender... the subtle scents, the calming colours... beautiful! I just found out about your blog and I fell in love with it... I will certainly come back for more goodies...

Your gorgeous painting on a Ladurée green wall, priceless!
Love their company store, way too tempting! ;-)
Lavender. I miss the lavender painted room in our previous home. One day I shall have a lavender room again. I kept two "linden green" quilted accent pillows just for that reason (I checked, they are actually from Paris! Yves Delorme - I wonder how close they are to the Ladurée green).
Those Warhol boxes are pretty cool!

When I click on that goodie image to see it full size it becomes the size of a postage stamp. No wonder you can't put on any weight.
