Spring Green

Paris color post today. "Spring Green" was all over town in March and since Spring is passing so quickly I thought I better get on it VITE!
When you see a trend in Paris it shows up in EVERYTHING. Head-to-foot.
Like these "baskets" or high tops for your feet...
And in eye shadow...
Spring green Japanese tea pots...
Giant green cups for your green tea...
Sirop de cactus in Galerie Lafayette. What the hell is that?
Spring green chocolate boxes at Cocoa et Chocolat..
Ordinary spring green vegetables look chic here...
And the REAL Spring green in the flower marche by the Seine...
BONNE JOURNEE

I love this color of green! My daughter has long, auburn hair and is always accessorizing with this green. Oh, would love to try that cactus syrup. Looks very interesting.

That green is so lush! I have recently become hooked on what we ladies of a certain generation called "Chartreuse" - such a gorgeous color!
I bought a lovely french wallet in this color, and have gotten so many compliments on it!

  3. Lots of beautiful greens, Carol--so like you to spot a good trend. Great pictures! Everything here is very green since we've had rain this spring.

I love your Paris trend reports.
Can't you do this full time
Along with the painting of course!

Cactus syrup must be agave - sold here in most supermarkets. Its a sweetener that's low on the glycemic index and doesn't metabolize the same way sugar does so is much healthier for you than using sugar.

  7. I wonder if they all get together and send out a color memo. Vert, aux vertes!
Like that color coded alert we are supposed to know here for security issues.
I prefer this one. Cause I love those green leather goods, and the teapots, and even the agave!!! And especially les coffrets du chocolate!!!Makes my mouth water. How you did not just "lick the windows" is it, I do not know.
    Yum-mee :)

  8. Spring green are leaving town fast, how true!
After two days of almost incessant rain, the leaves of the trees in front of my window look way too mature to be called May green any longer.

  12. There is a saying put forth by
some Impressionists that "The sky is not blue, and the grass is not green!" But, as with your lush post today, that wonderful green is EVERYWhere at this time of year, in Philadelphia.
Like most of Spring, it is fleeting.

This "green" issue is fabulous!! One of my favorites so far, and so true about the French getting on the bandwagon of whatever is the color or trend du jour....great shot of vegetables!

  19. I must confess that I do prefer last year's green more than this green.

But I must say that I'm in love with those bags. :~)
