Di Overton said...I love your daffodils any chance of some tulips. I love white ones...

White tulips are tough to paint Di. Maybe in a bit...for now I'm sticking with colorful tulips.

These are beautiful, Carol. I absolutely love tulips. They'll be cheery through whatever snow and ice approaches. So lovely.

Lovely Tulips sketches. Very springy. Not as easy to do as they look either. ;-)
Hope your storm watch turns into much to do about nothing. When do you leave for Paris?

  3. Poor East Coast!
You get on that plane to Vienna,
    I am even cooking tonight!
And then I'll show you how many more outdoor cafes there are in Vienna (yesterday's post was only a very small selection!). :-)

And we got tulips too, so there will be a ready supply for your canvas!

I loved the fringy orange tulip at Schwarze Kameel (last photo of my March 13 post "Urban Spring"). Another beautiful one is in the fourth photo of Feb 8, "Of Spring They Sing".

I LOVE the tulips. Reminds me of home. I saw deer out grazing on the lawn this morning - a sure sign that spring is around the corner. I'm considering this impending storm as nothing more than a blip, and just thinking of tulips.

  16. Love your watercolors! Can't agree more, Paris is a good place for "wandering"! It would be great also if staying in a Bordeaux vineyard! Quel rêve!
