400th anniversary of Jardin des Plantes 🌷

On Saturday I took  bus 63

To the entrance at Jardin des Plantes.
I was supposed to show up at 9:15 Tuesday morning….

Same day I had Salon du Dessin and lunch with Julia…

But I missed the boat 🛶

Impossible to do

All the things

There are to do in Paris.

Is definitely a Must-Do,

Especially when Spring arrives.

Simone Veil et ta Sœurs at musée Shoah.

This year’s installation of 23,000 bulbs and 25,000 biennials is in collaboration

With the museum’s library collection of botanical illustrations. Many are displayed among the flowers 🌷

Every year the tulips show up…

And every year I completely forget how to draw ✍️ them

Not a piece of cake 🍰

I have yet to go seriously hunting 🔍 this season’s Easter 🐣 Eggs 🥚
Next up on the Must-Do ✅ Agenda!

The tulips and other flowers are so beautiful! Thank you so much for this ray of color and lovely pictures in the current milieu. Some of my bulbs were eaten by rodents this year so I wonder how they manage to keep them safe!
