On...I know....baking is a four letter word for you. One of the
reasons you are having such a difficult time is baking is a science. The correct
proportions are essential for having your baked goodies come out correctly.
Changing amounts will change the results...ie. halving the sugar. Yes, you can decrease it a bit, but not half and have the results as intended. Same with amount of
other dry ingredients and the liquid ones as well. Don't give
up....baking can be so rewarding once you get the hang of it. And, to tell the true, even though I've been baking since elementary school....would you believe
cinnamon rolls which require yeast, and I'm now 64, I still have screw ups.
Even Julia Child had them.
RachelRachelnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26546687.post-30898642469508199742011-09-11T06:47:21.418-04:002011-09-11T06:47:21.418-04:00I MUST make my ownb French almond butter!!I MUST make my ownb French almond butter!!Gina Gnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26546687.post-13007831764671183952011-09-10T11:32:28.653-04:002011-09-10T11:32:28.653-04:00Yikes, you are truly an intrepid chef - I'm si...Yikes, you are truly an intrepid chef - I'm simply in awe!Karen@PasGrande-Chosehttp://www.athousandmiles-k.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26546687.post-31929262181646521452011-09-10T11:04:13.520-04:002011-09-10T11:04:13.520-04:00Butter has been a hot topic for me this week becau...Butter has been a hot topic for me this week because I'm visiting my in-laws in Geneva and they eat A LOT of it.
