WET PAINT

When I was in Paris in March there was tons of paint being thrown about!
YSL's windows were full of it...
Like these shoes for just 470 Euros (!!!)
Course I noticed these gents outside the YSL boutique hard at work...
Here are the paints - were they responsible for YSL's new look???
Across the way over at Christian Lacroix this thrown paint gown!
Don't even think about asking le prix, ma cherie...

A painted bag in another boutique - 239 Euros
I know you're hungry...it's breakfast - so a "thrown paint" cake at Bon Marche
True you could always just paint your body...
Well parts of your body, like this big poster at Galerie Lafayette...
Another way to get the "thrown paint" Paris look...
Over at ZAZZLE - a WET PAINT T-Shirt...ahem :)
BONNE JOURNEE & Thanks Di!

  3. The perfect outfit for an Artist. I own a set of those clothes. Only cost me the price of painting a few paintings. :)
    Only in Paris.

    Hi Carole,
I love your wet paint story. As for the cake in Bon Marche-I ate that!
It was delicious - Very light and delicate and inspired by the Japanese.

You certainly know how to theme your blogs!

  8. Not to the point of your wet paint post--but I love the reflections you got in the window photographs. Really beautiful. You are not only an amazing painter but also a fantastic photographer.

  11. I'm on day 24 of a 28 day cleanse that has had me cut out caffeine, booze, wheat, sugar, dairy, everything, etc - damn you and your thrown paint cake! I've been avoiding your blog lest I actually start licking the screen.

Love the flowy washes on your T-shirt! You could be doing couture in Paris it looks like.

  18. The pleasure was all mine. I could turn myself into a work of art when I am painting my furniture. Why doesn't it just stay where you put it?
