The black cups are particularly tough to paint. Black anything is hard to paint and I'm used to painting white cups...
Cafe Bonaparte's facade in the 6th... I love the geometry of Paris' cafes...Circles and squares...so harmonious. Always pleasing to the eye I love grabing a shot of a recently occupied table...This one is at Au Chai de L'Abbaye. As always Cafe Mondrian has a place setting out waiting for you :)
I moved to Paris 2 years ago. I should have done it sooner but that's how the macaron crumbles. Living on the Ile Saint Louis next to the Seine after the 19eme is 'la cerise sur la gâteau'. It doesn't get any better. I've painted watercolors for Bocuse, Champagne Mumm, Guerlain, Frederick Cassel, The Russian Tearoom and the Maharana of Udaipur.
